J. F. Wild & Co. SOS STEVENSON BLOG.

William Smith, a pioneer farmer, was found dead in bed at his home, south of ’; Oaklandon. yesterday, and the indlcations were he had been dead for several days. Smith was a widower, seventy-two years old. and lived alone. He left three sons and four daughters. As the old man’s neighbors had not seen him for two or three days, an investigation was made. An inquest will be held by the coroner’s deputy. The fact that there was no fuel in the Smith home led many to believe : that the old man may have died from exposure. The coroner is of the opinion  that heart failure was the cause of death.
