Name on Worthless Checks.

N. W. Reynolds, a civil war veteran, living at Oaklandon, is under arrest at the police station on the charge of obtaining money under false pretenses. The old man is said to have cashed several worthless checks for small amounts about the city He signed his name to the checks and gave his address. He had no money in bank. Reynolds said some money was due him. and he supposed it had been put in the bank to his credit.
